This pairing is the perfect combination of both with the rich, buttery flavors of BOXT Profile Two complemented by the sweet and savory flavors of the Apple Crescent Rolls with fig butter, honeycrisp apples, brown sugar and walnuts, topped with a honey drizzle.

Ingredients:

1 pack of Crescent Rolls

1 Honeycrisp Apple

Fig Butter

Brown Sugar

Walnuts

Honey

 

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 (or according to instructions on Crescent Rolls packaging)

  • Unroll dough and separate into triangles on parchment lined baking sheet

  • Spread fig butter over each dough triangle

  • Place 1-2 apple slices on dough triangle at largest end

  • Sprinkle each triangle with brown sugar

  • Sprinkle each triangle with walnuts

  • Roll each triangle (starting with largest end)

  • Bake according to instructions on Crescent Roll packaging

  • Remove from oven and plate, top with a drizzle of honey!

The savory notes from the crescent rolls and walnuts are the perfect congruent pairing to the rich and buttery notes present in BOXT Profile Two. The sweetness from the apples, fig butter, brown sugar and honey are the perfect complement to all of those savory notes for the perfect finish!
