Trader Joe’s Sauvignon Blanc

In my opinion, New Zealand is King when it comes to Sauvignon Blanc, so unsurprisingly, my top Trader Joe’s pics are all from NZ!

Trader Joe’s Sauvignon Blancs (Left to Right): The Pass | NZ ($8.99), Oyster Bay ($10.99), Kim Crawford ($13.99), Nikau Point ($5.99 )

All of these Sauvignon Blancs are exactly what you’d expect, refreshingly bright citrus flavors with tropical fruit and grassy notes. Any of these would make a great drink for a warmer afternoon!

The Pass | NZ – I pick up more grapefruit, lime and grassy notes in this one moreso than the others. I enjoy those flavors along with the bright, mouth-watering acidity this one has. I love pairing this one with a lemon chicken dish with asparagus as the side!

Oyster Bay – refreshing with bright acidity, I definitely picked up green apple and tropical fruit flavors. This is another consistent go-to that I have never not been able to find it at my Trader Joe’s!

Kim Crawford – this is always my pick if I’m picking up a bottle for a group. This one is very balanced and smooth, so while it still has those bright citrus and tropical fruit notes (think passionfruit), it’s acidity is very well balanced, making this an easy-drinking crowd pleaser!

Nikau Point – I just tried this one for the first time and it may be my new favorite! PLUS it’s only $5.99… WHAT. I could taste green apple along with the classic citrus and tropical fruit flavor (a little pineapple). This one is an unbelievably balanced Sauvignon Blanc for the price and I highly recommend stocking up on this one next time you’re at TJs!
